Beneficiaries
Italian Fire and Rescue Service (Corpo Nazionale dei Vigili del Fuoco – CNVVF) and it has the duty to ensure rescue, to carry out fire prevention/fighting services and to protect personal safety and integrity of goods. It provides technical rescue and assistance which requires highly specialized equipment and resources (USAR, CBRN, Spelean alpine Rescue, helicopters rescue…). According to the national law, the National Fire Corps is the key part of the civil protection system. The USAR module is registered in CECIS, INSARAG classified and has been part of many EU-UCPM exercises and of EU-funded projects.

THW German Federal Agency for Technical Relief
THW German Federal Agency for Technical Relief, is a governmental non-profit organisation (GO) belonging to the German Federal Ministry of the Interior. It provides technical relief and assistance in a large number of emergencies in DE and abroad. The rapid deployment unit for search and rescue was one of the first INSARAG classified units. THW experts are trainers and mentors for USAR teams INSARAG classification.

EcASC École d’Application de Sécurité Civile
EcASC École d’Application de Sécurité Civile, is the nationalfocal point for USAR trainings. Training offer is based on current and updated National Guides and Guidelines delivered by the French Ministry of Internal Affairs. Trainers are mainly from the National Department of firemen, thus assuring a strong background at both levels of theory and practice.

Dipartimento protezione civile
DPC is the CP national authority of IT in charge of emergency management, prevention and assistance. It operates on a EU and INT level with CP interventions abroad, promoting international relations, agreements and technical scientific programs to improve the prevention of the man-made/natural risks. It also part of the UCPM and has promoted or organized CP exercises in Italy.

Timesis Srl is an Italian SME with 27 year-expertise on international project management, monitoring and evaluation. It supports the EC (DG ENV) in monitoring and assessing projects funded under LIFE Environment, Nature and Communication Program and perform evaluation of programs for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Its staff cooperated with COMVVFPi for financial reporting, technical management, development of SOP and evaluation during EU funded projects PI.S.A.R.T.E., CBRN Integrated Response and several UCPM module exercises.
